Your career intro block

Your career intro block T4

The Career content type has the following elements:

• Name – the internal 4 name • Background image – the image that will sit behind the section (you don’t need to fade it to grey – course finder will do that for you)

• Is there going to be a stat? – Yes or no selection to indicate if you want a roundel

• Title – the title of the section e.g. Your career

• Body text of section – the copy on the left under the heading. Character count: 250-800 inc spaces.

• Source of statistic – the source attribution on the left under the body text

• Which statistic? – the type of statistic (Choose Other until new stats are added)

• Stat heading – the percentage figure to show in the roundel

• Stat text – the copy to show beneath the stat in the roundel

 

If you are taking evidence from a website eg LinkedIn, please take a screenshot of the page and save as future evidence.

 

In the body text, you should use career outcomes specific to the course. This is the text you origainally used in the Career opportunties tab.

There are two types of testimonial you can add here: either a text quote with attribution, or if you have a video testimonial you can use that. When you add content to this section you will be offered a choice of the two types.

 

The text testimonial has the following elements:

• Name – the internal T4 name

• Quote – the text of the quote

• Name of person – the name part of the attribution

• Relation to Uni – the part of the attribution following the name

• Image of person – the thumbnail portrait of the person next to the attribution

 

The video testimonial has the same elements except the Quote element is replaced by a YouTube ID element. You can get the YouTube ID of your video by going to its page on YouTube and copying it from the URL – it’s the bit after “v=”. "

Progression to a postgraduate course is dependent on successful completion of your undergraduate studies, there may also be minimum qualification requirements such as a first class or higher second (2.1) degree. Please check the course details to confirm this.
